CARILED is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Marion Villanueva as the new Program Director. Ms. Villanueva is a seasoned capacity development and governance professional with more than 25 years of international development experience.
The Caribbean Local Economic Development Project (CARILED) received approval for the implementation of its Annual Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2015 – 2016. This is the fourth year of operations for the project.
CARILED, in partnership with the Caribbean Association of Local Government Authorities (CALGA) launched a revised CARILED website in February 2015. This new website will host information related to LED in the Caribbean, including country profiles, monitoring of policy, legislative and institutional changes, as well as LED activities that promote job growth, business development and community innovation.
